okay well as i grow older i seem to be losing some of that fine eye sight..so i need to scope a couple of guns for targeting shooting....i dont want to spend a fortune....but i need something for my ar "100 to 300 yrd stuff", and something for my 10-22 mainly 50 to 100 yard stuff.....and if i decide to spend the money i might scope my cetme..it seems to shoot well open sights so maybe it might do well scoped....any thoughts or experience appreciated

Have a look at the Burris mini scopes for your AR. Great optics but without the enormous size of as regular scope. Long eye relief too. Cheap they ain't. Extremely good quality though. http://www.burriscompany.com/welcome.html
For a 10/22, I'd just put on a Bushnell .22 scope. http://www.bushnell.com/productinfo/riflescopes/rimfire.html
Cetme's are a whole different critter. Go here and rummage around. This came from a Yahoo search so there's more. http://cetme.homestead.com/mbr.html
Battle rifles generally don't benefit from scope mounting though. It just ain't the same. Buggers the balance. Oh and I'm 50 tomorrow. Geezuz!
