Time to rate 'Bowling for Columbine'?

OK, boys and girls! Is it time to go over to http://www.amazon.com/ and rate Bowling for Columbine? It just takes a few seconds to locate the listing on the search function then another quarter minute to vote.

Right now it has four stars based on 556 customer opinions. I wonder how many stars it might have after 2000 THRers visit the site?

I noticed that last night they took down the basic stars display and a couple of bad reviews crept into the list of reviews they put on the page with the DVD description. Of course they kept two of their favorite pet five star reviews on the page!

I looked through the list of recent reviews and it appears some folks have gotten some good points. Also it looks like the 'average review' function is back working again. Looks like several folks brought up the point that it is a passable film for a propaganda piece, but not anything that should have won the Oscar for a documantary film.


I notice that a couple of antis have really lost their cool. One poor guy seemed almost foaming at the mouth. Some of the folks that liked the film even brought up 'soft' pro sentiment. Weird.

I for one tried to watch it with an open mind. It was the most illogical movie I've ever seen. My wife who leans a little anti was put off by the movie, but then again, she doesn't have a room temperature IQ, either.

Maybe you did not understand. A room temperature IQ is generally between 70 and 80. My wife was a molecular pharmacologist before we decided she was going to be a domestic engineer (housewife). Her IQ is over 170 (I married up) She was put off by the movie because she's too smart to be led around like the retards that seem to think that it's a documentary or that it's any sort of good entertainment.
