Finally took the new CZ-70 out for a tour of the range. Ran perfectly. 10 yards from shot one, all shots in a 4" circle. I like this little guy. HEAVY as an iron brick though, so no I would not carry such a thing.

The trigger pull is fine, even DA isn't crazy nasty.

Bought as a CZ-50 32ACP from AIM for $199. Came new in a CZ-50 box. Perfect condition with protective paper, oiled and cosmoline, with two new magazines.

And while 32 ACP is not a defense round, I would not want to be shot with it!!!

Does yours have trigger slap?

I enjoy shooting mine except for that one annoying bit.

.32acp is a fun caliber and there are a lot of interesting guns chambered for it. Sometimes I put together a range trip with .32acp as the only centerfire caliber, just for fun.

OP,
FWIW, you can get a spare hammer spring from buymilsurp.com and cut 3/8" off of it. That will work wonders for DA pull and still ignite any ammo you try.

I had one years ago and it worked like a clock with Czech ammo (S&B). It didn't like American ammo but it did great with ammo from its homeland. Enjoy!
BTW the first thing I did was replace the firing pin and recoil spring just to make sure it was up to snuff.

For a few rounds it isn't too bad. If you go through a hundred or two it gets pretty noticeable to me.

indeed, my cz70 runs like a top on any european ammo. My father ordered his at the same time, and it much favors the watered down stuff we make here. His likely could use a new set of springs.

Had a couple of those back in the day - one was my BUG when I went to the hospital for the birth of my son. Forgot I had it with me when I left my duty pistol in the car.
The DA pull was terrible, but the guns were loaded with features you wouldn't expect, decocker/safety, loaded chamber indicator, 1911 style mag release.
I'd love to get another one some day, nifty little BUG. Like you say, .32 ACp isn't my first choice for any SD work, but it beats harsh language hands down.

Just be gently with it . THe parts on them are hard to find . Avoid dry firing if you can help it.

Agreed. Aside from this though, they're really nice guns, especially for the price.
