Trade Full auto Mac 10 for HK94?

Have a Full auto mac 10, the fat one, that i dont ever shoot, and just plain dont enjoy shooting, am thinking about trading it off for a semi auto HK94 and taking my sear and converting it to full auto MP5. Only thing is, like i was wanting to do couple months ago was trade the gun off for ammo, that thought didnt last very long before i decided to go against it. But the HK 94 is....another gun, i have one MP5 but can you really have too many, and this way i have one of my own, the one i have now is the wifes. I have to ask every time i want to take it out shooting.

So the thing is, trade off a full auto for a semi?? Even though the HK94 is not full auto...yet, wonder if i will be loosing money down the rd, or if im gonna kick myself in the butt for getting rid of it even if i dont shoot it, its still the real deal.

Yes, it is an absurd idea to trade almost any FA for a semi. You're saying trade an appreciating value firearm for a fixed value firearm. The moment you do it you'll be watching the money go down the rat hole. If you can trade the Mac 10 for another registered HK trigger pack, sure.

Who is the trigger pack registered to, you or your wife?

The sear is in my name, the gun was her Christmas present.

Hk's seem to hold their values and MACs have seemed to not move in value for many yrs, i bought mine when they was cheaper then semis but that was then, yrs ago.
