I'm considering a possible trade of my Kimber Stainless TLE II for a CZ 75 IPSC. The seller is in CA, and we have not yet determined if the Stainless TLE is on the CA approved list. I went to the CA DOJ website and tried the search engine and the Stainless TLE was not specifically named. However, there were a lot of screwy names under the Kimber banner, so I'm still wondering if the Stainless TLE is approved or not. Anyone know the truth?

I feel for you CA guys... What idiot came up with the requirement for "the list"? Never mind, I probably don't want to know...

Good news: Yes the stainless TLE is on the approved list.

Bad news: You cannot do a private party transfer of a pistol with out of state residents in Kali. Your gun will have to be sent from an FFL to an FFL if your Kali trader can find one who is willing to do this transfer.

Thanks for the info on the approved list...

Yeah, I totally understand I have to go through an FFL for state to state transfers. Hopefully this guy has an FFL who'll help him out. I've done silly things like this a lot lately, and now my FFL a specific shelf set aside just for me :D
