Right now the story is very sketchy.

One of my closest friends is closely involved with this and I have found out that one of the officers has died of his injuries. He was shot in the back. The suspect is a 15 year old kid right now and it looks like he may have killed himself. I knew frank a bit. If the stories of his passing are true then i am truly saddened.

As a person who carried a firearm daily I can not understand the mental process that goes into something like this. Sure I could defend myself from harm. But these officers were responding to a domestic Violence call and were gunned down in cold blood. :cuss:

My heart goes out to the families. I'm sorry to hear the news. A friend of mine, who was a deputy, was shot a few years back and really hits home with me.

Damn, that's the 2nd time this has happened in Indiana. A childhood friend, more of a sister really, was stalked by her ex-boyfriend. He managed use his car to kill two North Vernon policemen. This is after he drove a vehicle into her place of work and fired a rifle. After he had attacked her with a knife. Yet instead of locking him up they did a psych eval and let him go after 30 days.

A sad day.

I just watched this on the news this morning. It is very upsetting to hear this type of news. My prayer goes out to all.
