Flip, that first one is a young buck. Let him grow and mate a bit. That second one is an older buck. Not quite a 5 year old but maybe 4 (Hard to tell from that pic angle). If you are trying to manage your land for trophy sized deer let them younglings walk and spread those good genetics around.
 
The body structure Hoofan. That second one is built more "bulldog" like. While that first one is still all sleek lined. Just a LOT of years judging ages and managing properties Hoofan. The older they get (from around 4 to 7) the more they resemble linebackers. Lower in the rear than in the front.
 
these pics were taken on public land the first one is a younger deer and that is the first pic that I have of him #2 is a older deer I agree to let the younger deer walk but on pubilc land how many of you would let them walk.

Your soo right man, most hunters would not let the younger buck walk, but if he makes it for about two more seasons he's gonna be a hoss. I'm surprised your trail cams still there on public land, I've had two stolen this year alredy on wma land, don't you just hate a theif. Anyway goodluck with it, I hope you get a monster.
