Trailside: drift rear sight

I'm trying to remove the rear sight from a Trailside. I've removed the little set screw but the sight is very tight in the dovetail. Anyone know which direction it should be pushed out (left to right vs. right to left)?

Greetings waterhouse.

Try and look for any small indentation or mark on one side of the sight or the other .. this will indicate which direction the sight had been pushed onto the slide. Then, push it off in the direction from whence it came.

Do you have some sort of sight pushing tool?
