Transparent AR mags?

I recall seeing transparent 30 round AR mags being sold with the SL8 G36 dress up kits that were sold durring the AWB. Has anyone here tried them? Are they any good? If so, where can I get some?

Just saw some Ram-line 30's in my local hardware store. Smoked plastic. I thought the price was a little steep though: $32.95.

I'd be suprised if Cabelas isn't stocking them yet.

I've no idea whether they are any good or not.

Found a place with the smoke magazines. A little too dark for my liking. Still can't track down those none-smoke ones...

They don't hold up as well as metal. However, when they work, they really work well. If they're broke, you know it.

They made bulgarian waffles in a lot of colors including clear. I havent been able to find any yet.

I have a stack of Eagle lightly smoked mags for both the AR and Mini-14. (not combo mags, two different kinds) The bottom caps tend to come off in mag pouches, but they don't require bottom caps to run and they have run perfectly for me.

I like them as range mags. It's easy to see how loaded (or not) they are when they're laying on the table.
