. . . and the sting of the price will be lessened somewhat when I part with my former carry piece.
I've been eyeing it for awhile, and decided to take the plunge on the SIG 239 9x19. The grip size is very similar to the Kahr K9 that I've been carrying now for several months. The Kahr has been very reliable, but I have been unable to master the trigger to my satisfaction. I'm also a little peeved at the field stripping procedure on the Kahr, but that's more my fault than the gun. Anyway, I have no regrets. I put 50 rounds of AE 124gr down the SIG pipe today. Recoil was low, but I guess I've gotten so used to shooting .357 Magnum that 9x19 doesn't seem like much.
Here it is in all its blackened stainless glory. I have a Bianchi OWB 2-position pancake holster for it, but I welcome any suggestions for an IWB type. I'm going to slap a Hogue grip on it and call it done.
