This is just a complete shot in the dark, but I'm looking for the name of a manufacturer of a specific climbing stand. Here's a description...

As said, it's a climbing treestand. It faces the tree and has a sling seat almost identical to a Tree Lounge. (It's very similar to the Tree Lounge, but it faces the tree.) I do know that it was made in Florida.

I used to know someone that had one, but I haven't talked to him in quite a few years. (And don't know his numbers anymore. But I could get in touch with a nephew of his that doesn't get along with him very well.)

This is the most comfortable stand that I've ever sat in. 8 years ago I knew who made it and had contact info for the company (but had know need for the stand hunting a clearcut with scrub trees and brush). Now after I've moved residences and have added a new piece of property to hunt, I could use the stand, but can't remember (or find where I wrote it down) the contact info.

Trying to remember, I think the company name included three initials, but I could be wrong there.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm losing my mind searching the net and trying to remember.

And please don't tell me what stand you think is most comfortable. I'm trying to find info on a particular stand.

The tree saddle?

Oh man, I just ROFLMFBO when I saw Michael Waddle on that website - is this guy not hawking EVERY hunting product known to man with his "thumbs up"? Reminds me of when Homer Simpson was a food critic - he gave every restaurant "4 thumbs up" (that's the maximum - that's how many "thumbs" he has on one hand).

None of those listed as of yet.

But, JimKirk, if you ever made it to a Buckarama, that's where the guy I knew got it from. If they made it to the ATL show, I'd guess they also made it to Perry.

If you can imagine a "Tree Lounge" facing the tree, that's exacly what this stand would look like.

Actually, last night the initial JRH stuck in my head. I just went and googled it and found what I was looking for. It was called the "Gunslinger".

If interested, check it out at www.jrhsport.com

Thanks for trying to help though,

Wyman

That looks pretty light, and possibly pretty comfortable.

The only sling seated one I could think of was Summit. And it's one of the most uncomfortable stands I've ever sat in.

I've been to both the Atlanta and Perry Buckarammas , mostly Perry. My hunting friend had one of those, never knew the name of it. I sat in it once and it was comfortable. Mine is a home made copy of the Warren & Sweat. I see that they are located in St. Augustine, FL. I remember that since I kinda short and round the bar(tube) that the front sling is attached to cut into my legs, when I adjusted it to the right position for my legs, it was rather low to stand up in. I had to squat rather low to get back seated. That was the reason I went with the W&S style with some modifications. I googled Mansfield to see where it was, I had Manchester on my mind.
