Actually handled the new Sig in .380 today. And I have to say I am drawn to it. How does the trigger pull in the new Sig compare to

a. LCP
b. Kahr PM9 (This is not a 9mm vs. .380 question...but rather a comparison of trigger pulls.)

Oh...I realize that the Sig is a single action...but I have read that the trigger resembles more like a double action only pistol. Is this true..

So guys, there you have it. I need your help to make an educated decision.

Thanks...

I've dry-fired one. It's MUCH better than the LCP, it's trigger is pretty good. I hear it's a terrific pistol, perhaps the best 380 made today. That opinion is shared by many owners. I intend to get one. It's apparently about as accurate as any pistol of that size you can own.

Are we talking about the P238 here? If so, its trigger is a good bit lighter and shorter than an LCP or a Kahr. The P238 is basically a tiny 1911 (minus the grip safety.)

No, the trigger feels nothing like a DAO.

I thought it was pretty light when I dry fired it. Sig has it listed as 5 lb.

The only input I can add is that the 238's trigger is much lighter than my PM9, P380, or LCP. Primarily because it is SAO. It is about the same as the Colt Mustang Pocketlight. Lastly, I use Colt mustang mags in mine and they are flawless.
