just got a socom II rifle and was thinking about getting a new stock for it. the version I picked up comes with the full length rail on top so whether I pick the vltor or the troy I will still have the same amount of rail for accessories, I'm just doing of for more options with grips and stocks.

so with that out of the way I'm really only concerned about is overall weight and quality/comfort.

let me know what you think about these stocks :)

TROY

The SOCOM is at it's best in the M14 MCS from TROY.
I recommend a fixed A1/A2 stock or a Magpul CTR.

What optic are you planning to use?

the ctr was what I had my eye on, you can also switch the grips on that rig correct?

I planned on using the mark 4 cq/t from leupold, I've been using it on the socom so far, it works great and looks wicked cool with the cluster rail on the rifle :)
