I have been looking at several guns that I intend to use for Turkey hunting. I have looked at a Benelli Nova, and a Supernova as well as a Remington 11-87 and an 870 Pump. I want a new gun, not a used one. I really want a semi-auto, but I like pumps also. Please keep in mind that I use a 3 1/2" shell, so I need a shotgun that will accomodate that size shell. I also would really like to have a camo shotgun. If not a synthetic is fine, I can have it dipped. My price range is 800-$900. I want a quality shotgun that can be used hunt after huntt with no problems other than cleaning and maintenance. Also, MUST be a 12 ga. Does Benelli make a semi-auto that is a camo super mag that is within my price range new?

Any of those you mention will work. No Benelli semi is priced under $1K new.

My choice would be the 870, but I make no pretense of objectivity.

You may want to look at the Beretta Extrema2. A few bucks higher than your budget but a fine shotgun...

Check out the Mossberg 935 semi auto. It takes 3 1/2 inch and is available in camo synthetic. Price is also well under your $800 lower limit, around $500 or so. Comes already drilled and tapped for a scope. Everything I have heard says they are reliable. You can also adjust the fit of the stock with their special spacers.

Last time i was at Kittery benelli had a bunch of camo semis.

I beleive the m1-super 90, and SBE both come in camo with the M1 being a bit cheaper.

as for the 3 1/2" chamber- im not sure but im sure you can buy an aftermarket barrel.

Benelli- quality worth the price.
