I thought up this little event as a fun match and we tried it back in January at my local club. One of our shooters posted a video and I placed a link below. Please note the shooter's failures to fire with the bolt gun from the last station. He and another Savage Mk II shooter both had the same trouble. They had been shooting the rifles in benchrest competition and had lightened up the triggers to the point that they would not cock consistently in rapidfire. A good lesson to those that never cease messing with triggers. But, this shooter stayed after it and still placed second.
10 rounds for pistol, 10 rounds for semi-auto rifle, and 10 rounds for a bolt action rifle (bipod or throw down bag allowed from last position). Ten each - ram, pig, and chicken steel silhouettes. Rams at 50 feet offhand, pigs at 25 yards offhand, and chickens at 50 yards from any safe position the shooter chooses - some went prone and some shot by leaning on the bench. All in two minutes.
You get two runs and your score is the aggregate number of silos left standing. The low score wins.
We are shooting it again this coming Sunday afternoon by popular demand.
