I know in TX there is no open carrry even with a CCW.

However, please enlighten me on exactly what is considered concealed.

As a CCW holder, if you bend to tie your shoe and a small bit of your gun is revealed, do you believe you have violated the law?

Has anyone been prosecuted because while they succeeded in covering 100% of the gun 99% of the time, 1% of the time they only covered 75% of the firearm?

I'd also be interested for those in states where open carry is allowed without CCW license if you have any information on how much coverage is allowed before it is deemed concealed.

I would assume the holster itself would not be enough, but could you open carry a holster on your hip and wear a long trenchcoat? Would it matter if the coat was open, so the gun was reasonably visible, or buttoned up like on a cold windy day?

What about a garment held over the arm just because the temperature had changed?(say the gun is in a cross-draw holster)

inadvertant display is not against the law. Continued display is. Bend over to tie your shoe is ok but hike the shirt tail up over the gun is not.

The law was written in such a manner to take into consideration that accidental display will happen, just don't let it become a habit
