Stage 1 Smooth is fast.
Shooter will start with a fully loaded, holstered, handgun and an EMPTY spare magazine. Shooter is 10 yards from one IDPA target. On timer command, shooter will draw and fire 1 round into the -0 center mass area of the IDPA target. Shooter will replace the magazine in the pistol with the empty, leaving the chamber loaded and prepare the partial magazine to be used as a reload, and assume a ready position. Finger OFF trigger, sights OFF target. On timer command shooter will fire 1 round into the -0 center mass area, perform a slide lock reload, and fire an additional round. Shooter will perform this entire drill twice. Score will be combined time plus any penalties. Usual scoring will apply for all paper targets (-0, -.5, -1.5, head shot not specified -.5, miss or shot on no-shoot -10, procedural -3.) 6 rounds
Stage 2 Precision Shooting.
WATCH THAT MUZZLE WHEN CHANGING POSITIONS
Shooter stands at the 20 yard behind a stair step barricade with a holstered, loaded handgun. On command, the shooter will fire 12 rounds in 1 minute. 4 rounds Standing, 4 rounds Kneeling, 4 rounds Prone, through the hole in the barricade. Hits in the black bulls eye count 5 pts each, out of the bull but inside the ring count 3pts, outside the ring on the white paper count 1 point each, off the paper are misses. Any round fired after 60 seconds will be a miss. Extra holes will be deducted at 5 pts each. 12 rounds
Stage 3 El Who?
Shooter will stand approximately 10 yards from 3 IDPA targets arranged side by side with a fully loaded, holstered, handgun. At the timer command, shooter will draw and fire two rounds on each paper target in the -0 center mass zone, perform a reload, and fire an additional 2 rounds into the -0 center mass zone of each paper target. Black areas on the target represent hard cover and shots completely in the black will be scored as a miss. ANY damage to a no shoot will incur a 10 second penalty, as will a miss. 12 rounds
Stage 4 Advancing to the Rear.
The shooter begins behind a barricade at the 10 yard line. At the tone, the shooter will engage any IDPA targets with 2 shots each, knocking over any bowling pins, plates, or poppers that are available. Shooter will begin moving to the rear diagonally towards another barricade, engaging one paper IDPA target WHILE MOVING. The shooter will similarly engage targets at barricades # 2 and #3, engaging any target between them WHILE MOVING. Reloads at shooter's discretion. 16 rounds
As always, safety is first. Shooters will keep their weapons pointed downrange any time they are out of the holster. No charging of weapons on the trailer deck. All charging /clearing of weapons must take lace in the designated area(s).
