Tyler T-Grips....No contact

Anyone else order anything from Tylers? I ordered a T-Grip for my S&W 65 3" two months ago and he cashed my check. Three weeks ago he posted on his website all orders were being shipped. So far, no T-Grip and no response on numerous inquiries. Anybody else have problems? I know he has a very bad reputation anymore but his posting 2 months ago that he was back up and running gave me hope. Out $36....Dave:banghead:

I've tried to contact him a few times since the Oklahoma tornado. No response at all. I don't think I'd be sending him any money at this point until he gets his ducks in order.

Been readin' about problems with folks and their orders for T-Grips for several years now on this and other gun forums. Iffin I remember correctly, first it was a health issue and/or a death in the family and then a son/relative takin' over the business. Good product, too bad they have been plagued with business problems.

Thank you. Yes, I read he was sick last winter and that's why orders were running late. And, even though I had heard it's just been one excuse after another since the old man passed, I figured JR had gotten things straightened out so I went ahead and sent in my money and order. Then, the tornadoes hit. That has been the excuse this time. It's odd that if he truly lost both his house and business, the website never went down. Even so, his last correspondence on his site AFTER the tornadoes said the orders were to ship out by 7/12. Well, it's now 8/3 and I got nothin'. I've written numerous times with not one reply. I didn't know if anyone had heard he finally went under....with my money!

they seem to be a very small operation, so small that one person stops production and order obligations......

best bet is to find a used one than to hope and pray for a new one form the on again off again company. the product is really nice and in some what high demand, they just cant seem to keep their house in order to do the business.
