Either I've never noticed before, or the MSRP on www.uberti.com just rose.
I'm pretty sure everything was much less only a week ago! The Henry 1860 used to have an MSRP of $1050, now it's $1330!! Walker and Dragoons up to $430!! nearly every retailer is out of Uberti's and the few that have any, have raised prices in the past 2 weeks. Taylors prices are currently higher than their website lists.
Better get what you want while you can I guess. Looks like imports will soon be too expensive. How will this effect US made firearms? Boost in sales, or will the prices rise there too?

USA manufacturers

In respect to C&B revolvers, I am only aware of 2, the soon to be gone Ruger Old Army and the new offerings from USFA that will reportedly sell for ~ $1500.

I can't foresee the plummeting US dollar having any positive impact on our sport. Personally, I won't purchase any new imported guns. I may purchase used imported guns from other Americans as the money is more likely to stay in our economy.

Not just cap and ball, but I'm sure it'll impact all gun makers. Sales may go up for US made firearms, but their prices will most likely rise too. I've been planning on getting my first auto this spring, either a S&W 1911 or a Springfield 1911, so I'm hoping prices hold out another couple months!

I definitely agree. Our country today is so permeated with imported goods that across the board price increases are inevitable. I don't think it will happen as suddenly with domestic products but it will happen eventually. Still, if you want to be on the safe side you could always arrange a layaway type plan with your local dealer.

I have been saving for an Uberti 1873, nickel plated .357.

The more the dollar lags against the Euro makes me start thinking about a stainless Ruger Vaquero, or a used Vaquero if I can find what I want.

Ubertis, from all I can tell, are EXCELLENT guns that have only gotten better since Beretta bought the company. Beretta isn't going to sell guns that are better than ever, for less than they're worth.

The Euro is rising vs. the Dollar.

Transport costs are rising, which of course hits imports more than products made down the street.

Metals are all going up.

And hell, a nice Uberti BP sixgun still retails at what? $250-350, depending on the model, a bit more for the really fancy finishes?

Considering that Ruger's prices just jumped ANOTHER 20% and they have no exchange rate as an excuse, I think Ubertis are still not a bad deal. But I am thinking about buying ones I like before they go up more.

No, an Uberti SAA retails for $450-600, not bad, but I think even that is going to rise soon.

The full range of Uberti c&B revolvers were easy to get a little over a year ago. Now, only the more common ones seem to be in stock at Midway and other places. the pocket models and some dragoons are "Special Order" items.

Some of it has to do with the exchange rate and some with metal prices responding form war demand and the growing competition for metal by the Peoples Republic of China.

$1500!!!!! Are we talking about the '58 Remington's here, or the '75s?

Nothing is going up I just looked on Dixiegunworks they sell there C&P Pistols for the same price as they did when I bought my lot last year.

I bet when you place that order, they'll inform you of changes. Or, they could be selling the old stock at the old prices.
Uberti did just raise MSRP last week and eveyone is back ordered!!
I see it even with Beretta. My Beretta gold rush got sent back in December and sent back for the same issue in late Jan. Mid Fed, they told me the receiver was defective and they'd ship out a new rifle when the shipment came in. I call today, still no clue when the shipment will arrive!!
