Ultra Lite and + P's

Not as a steady diet. Shoot a cylinder or two to determine POA and call it even.

Which will give out first, the revolver or your hand? ;)

Without being more familiar with the gun in question, I can only give a sort of boilerplate advice: it will not blow the gun up, but will cause accelerated wear over an extended period of time. It is like driving your car and doing a full-throttle dragrace-style start from every stoplight. A few times will not hurt anything, but the car will loosen up and wear out soon.
 
I bought the gun and never fired it, then sold it and ask the guy not to shoot +P's at the range, when you leave the range change back to your +P's for your PP carry. Not being an expert in metals I just wanted to get some other opinions.

Taurus rates their Ultra-lites for +P. This is what they say about the Ultra-lite on their website -

It's a forged alloy frame. Comparing an Ultra-lite to a +P rated 642-1 or 642-2 built on the j-magnum frame, the Ultra-lite has a significantly thicker topstrap and is slightly larger overall. I've toyed with the idea of getting one and wouldn't hesitate to shoot +P out of one. How many expensive +P rounds would the average person shoot from one anyway? Not many I wager.
