I want to get some cheap Uncle Mike's holsters for certain carry methods. I want to be sure I know what sizes work before buying.

What size IWB Uncle Mike's holster works for a PM9? (Can the same size be used for a Taurus 85?)

What size Pocket Uncle Mike's holster works for a P-32/P-3AT for front pocket carry?

Thanks

I find these cheap IWB clipons work best for me.

The Gun Mate smallest autoloader size fits the P3AT nicely, the next smallest auto loader size fits my Kahr PM40.

At my local large gun store the Gunmate were cheaper than the Uncle Mike's
brand, although Gun Mate is also made by Uncle Mike's.

I used a J-Frame IWB holster (MilTech) for my P40 before I got the PM40 but I had to put a rivit near the trigger gaurd to take up the slack. I wouldn't consider a revolver holster to be a very good fit, but it'll work in a pinch.

I love leather and wear it every chance I get, but for CCW thickness, length of the grip, and weight are the main things that make it difficult for our climate and my informal "business casual" lifestyle.

Soulless fabric is thinner and dries quicker than leather. For a real belt holster leather can't be beat, but I can't use these without a jacket/coat and that's out of the question 8+ months of the year, and I'd have to take it off when inside to work.

Wally,
yea I see what ya sayin...here in NC we can get about 3-4 months that we can get away with belt carry...I dont like "tuckables" so a cover garment is a must...

I tend to use a pocket holster for most of the time anyway...either as a primary and a BUG...

Weight does matter...It just doesnt bother me as much as it used to..

In my rear pocket "oblivion" line I switched to 4-5 oz leather for the "body" of the holster and 6-7 oz for the anti-print shield..this cuts down on weight somewhat...

Leather cant dry as fast as synthetics...:(

To answer your question on the P-32/P-3AT, the Uncle Mike's Sidekick size 1 will fit either. And if you pull out some of the stitching in the "tab", and reinforce both ends, you can make the tab fit a spare mag quite nicely.

Its "soulless", and won't last nearly as long as a good leather holster, but it'll keep the pistol and mag oriented in your pocket.
