Hello all. I have read alot of the threads here as a non-member and had to join so I could tell you all I picked up a CZ 75B in Eastern Wa. for $ 399 NIB last week. Love the pistol but have one issue. I bought it for use at uspsa matches and I've noticed that the mag will only eject about 1/4 inch.( It does not fall free. Can this be "fixed" by a gunsmith? If not I suppose I will have to buy another :D pistol.

rebend the magazine brake so it's flat and no longer rubs the magazine. look for the manual online and check the exploded diagram. some people don't want them to drop free, so they bend it at an angle in the middle to protrude and rub the magazine as it sits in the well, keeping it from dropping free. it's not an issue, it's just a setup preference by the previous user or by the factory.

EAA Witness Elite Match, sells for around $429 at the Houston shows. Absolutely the most accurate gun out of the box you will find short of $1k or more. Also has an excellent trigger out of the box.

The others mentioned are all ok pistols, but if you want to be really accurate this is the pistol. I also own and shoot 5 BHP's, CZ75B, Springfield XD 9 Tactical, and various others, none come close to the Elite Match in accuracy or trigger quality.

For that money, I would fetch a Wather P5 from SOG. You will get an accurate and good-looking pistol with a long and storied history of reliable performance.

My under $450 9MM Range gun was $350 walking away. It is an old CZ. It is a great shooter and a lot of gun for the money. :)

This thread had many of the guns I'm looking at as well, and doesn't help my cause in choosing which I want. Looking at the FNP9, S&W 5903, XD9, and Ruger P95.

Nothing in particular really, I'm just trying to decide between them all. I can probably honestly say that whichever shop has the best deal and gives me a deal on a trade-in is the ones I'll look at harder.
