i was primming some 44 mag cases the other day, and had about 3 or 4 that the primmer seated way to deep im not sure if it was over sized primmer pockets or under sized primmers, i have loaded alot of handgun ammo and this is the first time i have ran into this, i was useing mixed brass and wlp primmers, im glad i caught it because i realy dont think they would fire , i guess it was the brass, just wondering if any one else has had this happen to them? csa:confused:

I would say the most likely cause by far is oversized primer pockets. I ran into this problem with Quality Cartridge 357 Herrett brass in the past.

.44 Mag.

Hell, if I know you, you more than likely wore those primer pockets out from reloading them too many times!! :D By the way, I need the data you used for the 629 Classic, the hot ones.
