Today there was a helicopter flying over my house a few times (3 or 4), so I decided to take some pictures.

I contacted the FAA about the low fly overs and they said that it sounds like a military helicopter and their pilots and aircraft are not regulated by the FAA, so there is nothing they can to.

Searching the internet comes up with a lot of "interenting" articles about black helicopters related to cattle mutations and the UN landing troops in the US. :) Also, I read that the military is required by law to have an emblem on their aircraft, but I didn't seen anything.

Does anyone have any real information about unmarked black helicopters?

[didn't know the correct forum to post in - plz move if needed]

Looks like a military bird. We had A-10s and Blackhawks doing fly-overs quite frequently when I lived in El Paso (close proximity to Ft. Bliss).
