I have two of their Rodeo model and one pre-war. They have a little way to go to match the Colts of that era (the pre-war has slightly dished screw holes, but the Rodeos are perfect because they aren't polished so much). But IMO they are as close as you can get to the fit and feel of the old Colts.

I got those because it would be my last chance to buy any new SA revolver in MD unless either the law is changed (not holding breath) or someone comes up with an internal lock for the SA revolver.

I've checked out the USFA SAA's and they are second to none. I want a high quality SAA and I've seriously considered one of the USFA's but I'll probably wind up with a Colt if only because it's a Colt. I feel a Colt bought right will not depeciate in price. Too bad Colt don't make them like this anymore.

Maybe I'll buy a Colt to put away and a Rodeo to shoot!

whichever way you go- a Rodeo to shoot sounds pretty tempting as it would allow you to pamper the fancy work.

The Quinns at gunblast.com tested the Rodeo too and found it very well done.
