Hi guys how well do 55 grain projectiles work in the 218 Bee?

I ask because I have about 1000 more than my 223 really needs.

It depends on the rifle and particular 55gr bullet you are referring to.
Not enough information.

The Sierra 55gr SMP has shot well in 1/16" twist .22Hornet for me.
The 55gr BT-FMJ , not so well. (shot-gun pattern).

A flat-base 55gr soft-point will probably shoot "ok".
However, a boat-tail or plastic tipped bullet won't likely shoot good, except for perhaps some of the T/C Contender barrels which had 1/14" twist; irrc.

I don't guess you could load a few and see how they flew.

It is not a common combination and not likely for a random gunboarder to have tried it.

I've shot some Hornady 55gr Spt in a 1/16" Hornet and they shot "ok".
Actually, the last batch of Hornady 55gr Spt (w/cannulure) didn't shoot all that good (~2" at 100yds), so, they shot about the same as from a 1/12" .223.

The Speer's should shoot OK, but, only one way to know for sure how YOUR rifle does with them. I've heard of some T/C Contenders w/.218Bee bbl. that shot 55gr very well.
