Using Range Brass

I've seen mentioned that a few of you pick up 380 brass. Geez I cant ever find any. I had to go the Starline route.

Right on, I guess I could shoot all the factory crap I bought before I started handloading. It's just so boring now, spraying those cheapo factory rds all over the target, frustrating too. I guess I should fix my attitude, I guess I'm a handloading snob now.

With Free Range Brass (certified Organic) I usually come home with more brass than I fired. It's like they multiply on the ground -- they must be like free radicals or something.
9MM, 40 S&W, 45ACP, 380 some times, even 38 and 357. I even got some 45 GAP the other day. Now if only I could find 32 Auto, that would be something.

I mostly shoot at an indoor range, where very few people reload, unfortunately 3 of my buddies reload now, so they are fighting for the range brass. --- not really, we are all pretty good about sharing -- but MY 380 is MINE -- keep your mitts off!

At an outdoor range I frequent I will almost always come back with more rifle brass than I started -- mostly 223, some 308, and some 30-06. Again, a lot don't reload.

About the only brass I have to buy is the more obscure (to South Fla) calibers, rifle mostly but I just got an order of 7.62x25 from Starline. And I had to break down and buy some once fired 32 Auto brass to start feeding my Colt 1903.
