I am a little concerned over the priming stage, and I was wondering if you could try reseating spent primers in cases to get the hang of using your priming tool, whatever it might be. Is this possible, and have any newbies ever tried it?

i did this with my loader when i first got it, just to get a feel for how everything went, I made up several dummy rounds. the spent primers will press in a little easier, as they have been compressed, but it still gives you an idea, and a feel, for the machine.

Priming is a very easy thing to do. You wont need a lot of practice.

Agree. I think about two should do it. ;)

The one thing (other then feeling the primer go in) that I have discovered about inserting primers is make sure the primer tray never gets low. 99% of the problems I have with primers is that. I get to pumping out rounds and kind of zone out and don't pay attention to the primer feed tray until I feel a primer not go in properly.
