The "CBJ-MS"

Does anyone know, what happened to it?

Even without the new ammo.... in regular 9mm
or let´s say in 7.62 x 25 this looks like an awesome apocalyptic
firearm.

Look here for specs:
http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg101-e.htm

Caliber 6.5x25 CBJ-MS (also 9x19mm Luger / Parabellum)
Weight 2.8 kg (6.2 lbs) empty
Length (stock closed/open) 363 / 565 mm
Barrel length 200 mm
Rate of fire 700 rounds per minute
Magazine capacity 20, 30 or 100 rounds
Effective range up to 400 meters

... i don´t see why this shouldn´t be the perfect design,
if it´s made around the available 7.62 x 25 round?

( ...the looks are definitely mean, and i like the 2nd mag in the grip.)

What idiot uses a bipod on a 6" barrel SMG?

This really is nothing special. For 9mm you could do the same, if not better, with a transferable SWD M11-9. Check out www.max-11.com for slow fire uppers and stocks to upgrade the standard M11 SMG. Even converting an M11 from 9mm to 7.62x25 is possible (I've considered doing it to one of my M11s).

Well..MrShaggy maybe it´s the dude who will put a bullet throught your helmet, while you a trying to penetrate his body armor :)

i´d be happy to see range results with one guy using a bipod
on a subgun and one who doesn´t.

..i´d really love to see you convert the 9mm to a 762x25,
and make it a versatile military gun... the M11 seems just like
a good old subgun/carbine to me.

the ammo makes the difference between "MP5" and "PDW" categories
IMHO.

Shockingly, most subgun combat does not take place on a range......

That and bipods that clamp the barrel are notorious for changing the POI quite drastically when in use and when not in use.

I think Max's site is down right now, I can't get the home page either.
This site has some pics: Linky
These new teeny cartridges seem to be able to poke through body armor but how do they do against unarmored targets? More or as effective as 9mm?
