Does anybody know anything about an UZI, Semi Auto, Model B, made by IMI? Is it a POS? What's the difference between a model "A" and "B"?

Thinking about getting one for PCC (pistol caliber shooting) and what to know if they are any good.

Thank, Tucker

Uzi mod. Bs have the following updates: better sights, a firing pin safety that only works on semis (closed bolt only), reshaped ejector, and the front sling swivel's been given a tad more range of motion. Aside from that, they use the same barrels, the same mags, and all the same parts. (paraphrased from http://files.uzitalk.com/reference/pages/ABdiff.htm)

From all I've heard, they're the most reliable and robust semi-auto PCCs out there. Definately recommended, though I do have one problem with 'em... the grip safety. Just never felt all that comfortable to me.

Chances are, though, that it's a Vector-made one (www.vectorarms.com) but with an IMI lower. They're a good company with a good reputation, whether it's with their AKs, HK-type stuff, or their Uzi line.
