Legionnaire,
Sad the state with 550,000 CCW holders more than any other,1 million hunters more than any other and their 2 State Senators are MIA on this vital issue?
Again it goes back to the Keystone State voters putting the Casey's ,Specter's and Fast Eddie's into office. You had Santorum the biggest 2A booster in the Senate. Now you got?
When will they ever learn?Let's hope 2008 starts to turn the tide.

I just got a phone call from an assistant at Senator Burr's (R-NC) office and was told that they'll be contacting Senator Dole's office for more details to also sign this letter. I'm just glad we have two, openly pro-2A Senators for NC.

Just got off the phone with Sen Warner's office.
Got a bit of a runaround at first but then had a pleasant conversation with an aide who promised to pass along my thoughts/concerns.

Don't know if they actually will, but I'm also writing a second letter (and including the aide's name) so if they don't pass the call along they may face some heat <grin>.

"In the unincorporated Montana portions of YNP, you could even carry concealed without a permit. Not sure about WY and ID ... somehow I thought ID had the same "outside city limits" exception that MT does?"

Kind of, the wording is really vauge; IC Title 18, ch 33

"(12) The requirement to secure a license to carry a concealed weapon under
this section shall not apply to the following persons:...

...d) Any person outside the limits of or confines of any city while
engaged in lawful hunting, fishing, trapping or other lawful outdoor
activity;:

Not sure what "other lawful outdoor activity" is defined as, but I can imagine quite a few things.

i still cant quit laughing that theres a senator with the name crapo... sorry childish i know, its 3am gimmie a break.
