The Police Department in bankrupt Vallejo will pull its officers off public school campuses - where more than 1,600 middle and high school students were suspended or expelled for violence, weapons or drugs last year - and quit providing security at school sporting events, dances and graduations, angry school officials said Tuesday.

So is Vallejo now able to also give an exemption to citizens so they can protect themselves AND their kids at these various events? Or are these students and parents, like most californians, defenseless sitting ducks just waiting for the next gang fight to break out and left to hope that they aren't killed/mugged/carjacked by these "homeys" who feel they have nothing to lose? Yep.

California is bankrupt financially and a moral cesspool. What did the school district expect?

that's right.
All of california is BAD BAD BAD. Don't visit - you might get robbed and anally raped! Really, it's horrible, especailly the mountains in northern california. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL - the whole place! :D

i know! i visited and drove the whole coastline, and i was terrified at every beach and coastal city i came to! those beautiful coastline views are meant to lure you into their trap, doncha forget it.

Its happening in Georgia as well. A man I know, who is a deputy at the county Sheriff's Office was told that if they had to arrest certain people, ie pregnant women and people who require medical attention, even diabetics, they would all be let out on probation because the county didnt have enough money to keep them in good health.

Vallejo? I was stationed there 20 years ago, is it really that bad now? Never had any issues there or in Concord. SF was differant, but that's SF, and that wasn't that bad.
