Well, I just got my Valtro back from Jardine's Custom where the following was performed:

S&A Mag Well and Blend
Serrated Back of Slide (with Extractor serrated to match)
Spare Extractor created, also serrated to match rear of slide
New Cocobolo S&A Flat Bottom Wood Grips
Polish & Refinish Gun
New Torx Grip Screws
New Recoil Spring

I cannot wait to post pictures of this gun... John is an absolute WIZARD. Stay tuned for images.... maybe Ken Lunde can help me take some high-res images.

I know Jardine got up on Sunday at 3AM to work on my gun... the guy is so completely dedicated to his customers, I'm in disbelief. His rates were VERY affordable, and his turntime was beyond my wildest dreams.

If you call John for custom work on your Valtro or other 1911, please tell him that "seven" (like the number) sent you. It will help you AND me.

John must've refit the bushing and the link... the lockup is ever better than before. The slide feels like it is on ball bearings.

Man that is nice. I want one of the Valtro pistols so bad I can almost taste it. I just keep tellin' myself that it will pass but it ain't. I may be in trouble. All I can say is that it is a good thing that he has a long waiting list or my plastic would be full.
