Value of S&W 657 .41 in 3" barrel

What would one expect to pay for:

S&W 657 .41 Mag with a 3" Barrel? Used but in Excellent Condition

Thinking of buying one...just wanna pay fair price.

It depends upon if it's a modified one or one of the early Lew Horton guns. If it's an early one, with the 1st generation factory wood combats stocks and round butt from the 80s, you are looking at about $800 to $900. This is about a "market" price -I have seen dealers asking above a thousand, and occasionally one will be offered a little less. This is a that gun but in .44 magnum for identification.

Yep, $800-900. Although I have seen more than one go for over 1K on GunBroker. I just got this one (NIB) for $850.



If you can get it for under $800 its a deal.
