Vega Holsters?

Barry I don't have experience with that one. But in the past I've used the old Bianchi X15 a lot. I don't know if you want it for general use or not, if so be aware that some vests can allow the leather straps to show. A jacket takes care of that. I really liked the Bianchi with the exception of the wire it has to hold the gun tight. I've had the wire wear through the leather & scratch the gun. This holster doesn't have any wire, looks well made, I think it'd be a great holster. As you said the price is lower than some available. I also don't like a horizontal shoulder holster, you are always pointing your gun at those behind you.
If I were going to use one again I'd look very hard at this one, it'd make a great holster for fishing, keep the gun up away from water, be easily accesable, & it looks secure. I'd say go for it, I like the looks of it.

I like the looks of it as well. I currently carry a model 57 in a galco shoulder rig and while it's soo easy to buy another for the model 28 or even share the galco one as they both are 4 inch n frames I like all my handguns to have dedicated holsters, and at this price I wouldn't hear much bickering from the Mrs.

I have a Vega holster for a PPK I bought about ten years ago. It is well-made, fits the gun extremely well, and I still use it here and there. IIRC, I paid just under 50 bucks for it. Probably one of my better holster purchases.

It's what they call a "Three-position" holster with belt slots cut so that it can be worn 'normal strong-side', 'crossdraw', or 'small-of-back'. I usually wear it strong-side, but occasionally crossdraw. SoB is not a carry-position I like at all.

The only issue I have ever had with the holster is that the leather on the back, where the belt slots are cut, is a little thin, so that the holster has a bit more "flop"
than I would like. But if I keep it tight in an appendix carry, it stays in place pretty well.

Ten years later and I'm still using it, is a LOT more than I can say about a box full of other holsters I've bought.

Sounds like they are well made.
Walter a LOT of holsters develop more flop than I'd care for too.
I can relate to the box full of holsters also! :D

Barry if you get it we'd like a report. The price & quality look of the holster has me interested. The stiching looks really well done.;) That holster also looks like it's got quite a bit of adjustment built in, overall looks nice.
Thanks
