VEPR K -VS- Arsenal's SA M-7 Carbine

That reminds me that I have to get my muzzle break off and put in papers for a suppressor. And desporterize the saiga.

About your question, they are both awesome guns, though I am personally biased towards the milled receiver Arsenals. My AWB style version is decently accurate, reliable and well made. The gun is barely capable of headshots at 100 yards and definitely capable of Minute of Enemy out to the effective range.

Well

VEPRS are the truly accurate Aks, heavier also. Get one that takes Ak mags. They don't have furniture options like other Ak type rifles.
Arsenal makes a good product I like my Arsenal stuff.

I like them both.

The Vepr will be more accurate, but is heavier. (heavier receiver, heavier barrel) Now since most of us don't have to hike with our rifles, webgear, and rucksack through the mountains of Afghanistan, this isn't that big of deal in reality, but on the internet is is of utmost importance. :p

The only other main difference is that the Vepr uses proprietary furniture, and the other uses standard AK stuff. This is not that big of a deal as Vepr adapters and options are becoming more commonly available, and the regular stock is fine. The Arsenal is more in line with what a traditional AK should look like.

Between the two, I like the Vepr. But I am biased, I did just sell 40 of them. :)

Correia, I hope that 40 made the supplier for your group-buy deal happy. I so wanted in on that, but my impending wedding precludes spending any more money on guns for now. Hell, you should have seen the looks I got when I dropped a measley $300 and a couple trade-ins for a new 20" RRA flattop. Whew! :D

Any plans for another group-buy in the future, say around the new year?

Daniel, I'll do another one, but I was actually figuring around after the new year. Like when people start getting tax returns. :D

Still need to get these done. I'm still waiting for the very last of the FFLs to trickle in.
