I love your videos. This one and the last one on the Trapdoor Springfield are the best IMO. The single complaint I have about my own Uberti Smokewagon is the color case hardening finish. I just finished a set of new walnut grips for it that compensate for the overall finish somewhat - but a Doug Turnbull case hardening job would really do the trick. Yours is a beautiful SAA.

Nicely done. And I totally agree that what you did in refinishing the colour case and blueing really makes it stand out. Totally gorgeous!

However I do feel the need to protest your constant use of red soda. But not for the reason you may think. As a lover of Cream Soda I feel you're being unneccessarily cruel to this fine ruby liquid. I urge you to see the error of your ways and to avoid using this Red Nectar in the future. Instead I suggest you use Coke or Pepsi as no one likes that bilge filth.... :D

The name "Smokewagon" sure sounded funny to me, so I looked it up.
Sure enough it's an archaic American slang term for a handgun, especially for a revolver.

Uberti or Taylor's sure did their homework when they selected that name for it.
At first I thought a smoke wagon was a traveling smoked meat or sausage wagon of some sort, like a kind of chuck wagon. :D
But no joke, that's one slick gun and you're one slick shooter with it too! :)
