I own the crossfire II 4-12-44 and love it.
The scope is very clear, tracks well for the little bit I have done with it. I shot at 100yards and used a ballistics thing for my factory ammo and it said 1.5 inch difference at 200yards with 100yard zero. I cranked it up and shot dead on at 200yards, cranked it back down and shot dead on at 100yards, then back to 200yards.
The turrets are almost like target turrets but just get covered with a cap. its very sharp too. I like it has finer crosshairs that don't cover a dot or bulls eye. it also stays very consistent when zeroed but I have a 223 so it really doesn't shake the scope much.
Overall compared to my Nikon Pro staff scopes I would say vortex wins.
scale of 1-10 I give it a 9. only reason on that is no parallax adjustment until you go into the 6-18 power.
