Any one tried the Sparc AR? Seems like a nice red dot with a great lifetime warranty.

I have a sparc II that I put on my son's ar and it is a very good optic for the money

Just bought the AR last night. It seems from reviews that both the AR and Sparc II both perform very much alike and are getting great reviews. The AAA battery and sleeker design led me to the AR, but the Sparc II was my 2nd choice. Honorable mention to the Strikefire II but the more expensive and less readily available battery influenced my decision. Thanks for the replies.

You won't be sorry, the AAA battery was the icing on the cake for me. I really like the etched reticle which ensures a sight picture without power.

The Sparc AR doesn't have the etched reticle. Are you thinking of the Spitfire AR?
