I have aquired some VV N350 powder and wondered what it is best suited for loading between 40S&W, 38 special and 357 Magnum.
Looks like it might be a bit heavy/slow burn for 38 spec?
But might be good for some higher 40cal and medium 357 mag. loads?
Any suggestions for grains with 180gr. plated for the 40 and 158gr. plated for the 357 mag?
Thx,

I've used it in 32-20, 32 H&R, .38, .357, .44 Mag, .45 ACP.. buh.. that's about it..
It's a fairly versatile powder for HEAVY bullets in a given caliber..

I don't have any N350, but do have some N340. Perhaps I should try it with some 100 Grainers I have.

Walkalong..
you wanted my .32-20 load..

starting load
6.4 gr N350
under a no-name, knurled, hollow base SWC...

fairly hot, but good ejection in my Ruger

try about 2.5gr of N320
that's one of my .32 S&W Long loads..

BUT..
for the same Ruger Blackhawk as the .32-20's

IIRC, VV lists max load at 2.2 gr for the .32 S&W Long
