Walker game ears

I'm interested in purchasing a Walkers Game Ear.
I've seen the hype on the Outdoor Channel but I've never really known
anyone that has used them. Any comments?

I used one for the first time last year. I first tested at the range and it did a good job of blocking out the sound. That was my first priority. In the woods, it was very effective in amplfying sounds. I was using one and did have a difficult time trying to put a direction on the sound. You might want to try two of them if you can afford it.
