When I use tuff-nut meida I always run the brass thru corncob with a used dryer sheet to get rid off tuff-nut residue.

You don't use them in a vibratory tumbler--only a rotary tumbler. Those tumblers have a rubber membrane inside them to protect the body of the tumbler from the pins and brass.
