Walther P99/AS pistols are fantastic. I used my P99c/AS for cc (along with my b/u LWS32), but have recently replaced it with my new THIN Walther PPS.

The PPS is simply so much easier to cc, for me, than the P99c/AS, and it has larger 3 dot (white) sights. Larger sights in a self defense pistol shouldn't be a big deal but I like 'em. I'll willing to give up the capacity for the ease of cc.


I've owned a Walther PP/P1/P5 in the past, and now the P99c/AS, P99/AS, and the PPS and I've never had a bad Walther...

You have to pull the trigger for an hour before you get to the release/shot point.. nice comfort, but i don`t like it
