Most of us are familiar with the WAMO Powermaster PISTOL, but this is the WAMO Powermaster Rifle and I've never seen or heard of another. The gent I bought this one from had photos of another one owned by someone else.

Here's the barrel stamping on this gun.

The old WHAM-O Hunters Slingshot boxes show the WAMO SPORTS PRODUCTS on the box lid, and there is a third .22rf single-shot called the WAMO Hamilton Dueling Pistol.

Does anyone have any info as to the number of each firearm WAMO manufactured? Exact dates this and the other WAMO .22s were advertised for sale?

Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

There is a most excellent article on Wamo firearms in the Shotgun News ninth annual Treasury on news stands right now.

The Tommy-Gun you have is one of the rarest and hard to find.
And it actually isn't considered a "Powermaster".

There is still a lot of mystery & intrigue surrounding the Wham-O company and Wamo firearms, and exactly who and where they were made a various times.

Better look for the Shotgun News 9th. Annual and get it while the gett'n is good.

Frustration thy name is Shotgun News...

I've checked the local mag racks to no avail. I've written GD asking for the correct year of the ninth EDITION. That was two or three days ago with no reply. They advertise the 2008 and 2009 but they DON'T go by EDITION number. I told them I'd send a check if they have it....

I guess I'm gonna' have to find a way to phone 'em for more info.

rcmodel, do YOU know what YEAR the ninth EDITION might be?

[Speaking of rc models, I just watched a fascinating video of a huge German-made SR-71 Blackbird rc model in flight. Beautiful plane, REAL jets, to scale...]

The ninth edition is the current 2009 one, and it first came out this spring. I bought mine in May.
I just saw them still on the news-stand at the grocery store day before yesterday.

It is a collection of reprints of articles that first appeared in SGN during 2008.
