Was this Colt Cobra a decent deal?

I put a Colt Cobra on layaway today since I've been looking for a revolver to carry. It is a blue 2" 38 special.

It was priced at $289 but I got it for $262 OTD. It locked up like a bank vault. The blue had some holster wear but it isn't an eyesore.

It was a little bit of an impulse buy so I didn't research the purchase that much and now I'm wondering if I did okay by it.

Ok.

Hey There;
I see nothing out of line with your deal.
Those are nice guns. The price was fair.
I saw one for 265.00 ans wanted it. Should have bought it. Now I can't remember where I saw it. You did fine.

Great little revolver, and a good price on it too. I have noticed with Colts that it is unusual to find one that doesn't lock up like a bank vault. I love em.

Well, let's see...I have only seen one Cobra for sale in my area in the last couple of years and it was a nickel model in the box that had had about twenty-five rounds through it. It went for $465 and is in my possession at this time. So, to answer your question, I think you did real well.

Great price1 I'd take two at that price!

Give it a long life and only shoot std pressure loads.

Thanks for all the reassurance! :)

My husband was going to the local gun store and I was just tagging along... I just happened to see it and I don't think he was too happy with me buying another gun. At least I can feel good about not getting ripped off and having a solid little shooter.
