I'm sure I've mentioned before that I do water for a living. I've probably also mentioned that vector borne diseases are serious issues in my work. Well, it was just brought home to me in the worst way.
My cousins husband just passed away. From West Nile Virus. He was in very good shape (heck better than me by a long shot). But, there is no way to know if you are one who will just slough off the disease or become a fatality.
So, please wear that repellant, and if you have standing water anywhere you go (other than the field obviously) remind whoever owns the property that it's a breeding ground for mosquitos.
