I recently acquired an old Ruger M77 in .257 Roberts, serial # series 71- so that tells me it was put out in '75. I mounted a Weaver Grand Slam 3.5 x 10 x 50 using the correct Ruger rings, taller ring in back, #5 ring in front. Problem, while rifle groups great, I cant get crosshairs to move further right, I have run out of room. I am an owner of several Rugers and know those rings on Rugers mounts are just about as good you can get. Any owners of similar scope have had that problem?
