I bought a Weaver Classic V 1-3x20 to put on my AR and it appears to have broken. One of the interior lenses looks cracked and there is a piece of metal inside the scope tube that I can hear rattling around and I can see sometimes.

I was wondering if I can expect Weaver to take care of this, I know they have a lifetime warranty but I have never used their customer service.

I bought the scope last month from Midway and have contacted them about a return but since I have installed the scope and used it I don't know if they can help me.

I have only fired a few hundred rounds through the rifle with this scope on it.

Thanks for the replies. I will try to contact Weaver Monday as I got an email back from Midway directing me to contact them.

Not knocking the scope or the company just wanting to get a feel for how much help I can be expecting in resolving this issue. Seemed like a good scope and I am guessing I got a dud.

Just wanted to update my situation. I shipped my scope back to Weaver at the end of November/beginning of December for repair/replacement. I received a brand new scope this past week.

Just wanted to give some credit to Weaver for making things right, and taking care of my scope. The only negative part was that I had to ship my scope back to them. They paid for shipping my new scope back to me.
