Weird thing with the J Comp?

I got to try out my 10.5" pistol build today, it's a radical melonite barrel with a J Comp brake.

When my buddy was shooting, on 2 occasions, I felt a cool gust of air. I couldn't really tell if it was from the blast or not but then my buddy mentioned something when I was shooting.

It didn't happen every time, but I only felt it while he was shooting with the pistol. This was outdoors with a steady light breeze.

I don't know, is this a thing with comps/brakes?
