With Whitetail archery season just around the corner here in East NC, I was wondering what types of bows, arrows, etc you are planning on hunting with this year.

My whole setup is fairly inexpensive and I've been using it for several years. It's not the latest and greatest but I've killed a few with it.

Bow: older PSE Nova single cam
Arrows: Carbon Express 4560
Broadhead: Carbon Express Assault
Release: Tru-fire
sights: Tru-glo sight with single pin and kisser button (don't like peeps)
rest: whisker biscuit

Lets see what you've got!

I have shot the same bow for a few years now.

Mathews Hyperlight 70lbs
Vital bow gear start tracker single pin sight
Vital bow gear drop away
Carbon express maxima hunters
Magnus stinger BH's usually 100 grains.
My release is a True Balls short n sweet. (I think) It does not have the best trigger release but it fits really well so I over look a slightly less than perfect trigger.

Longbow. 70#. Cedar arrows. finger tab. Sticks and strings. I've also got an almost new PSE compound - just like the longbow better.

I bought another bow Friday that may become the back up to the back up. Or perhaps my new fishing bow not sure yet.

Redhead Toxik- Used bow but it was left handed and priced at a really good deal.
Came with the following

Sights 5 pin tru-glow decent not great
NAP quick tune fall away rest
Kiwee 4 arrow quiver
4" limb saver stabilizer

The bow was made by Diamond Archery a division of Bowtech so that in itself made it worth a look. A good lookingbow nice factory camo job. Light weight and well balanced. Well taken care of strings and cables waxed not shot much. At 61# a quick little sucker that draws like its a 51# bow. Anyway for $300 bucks its a dang fine bow.

Have not shot it enough yet to know what arrows and overall setup she will wear. However after adjusting the peep sight to fit me and tweaking draw length a little bit. I was able to tear a fletching with another arrow at 20 yards. Next arrow smacked the other two arrows in the target. Total arrows through bow by me is 23 shots. So it stands this bow has made the initial cut very well.

Sorry excited about new toy.

Broadhead: Mangus Stinger Buzcuts

Release: Scott lil goose.

BTW V8stang that looks identical to what I started bowhunting with about 8 or 9 years ago. Great setup. Killed four deer with it over two seasons before I hurt my shoulder and gave it up.
